Primatology Lab Fund

The Primatology Lab investigates the origins, diversity, and conservation of primates through interdisciplinary research in Africa’s tropical rainforests. Centered on long-term studies in Gombe National Park, Tanzania, and Lomami National Park, Democratic Republic of Congo, the lab combines field and laboratory approaches to answer fundamental questions about biological diversity. Research has led to the discovery of new species to science, revealed new insights into primate evolution and hybridization, and used genomics to expand our understanding of African primate diversity. Undergraduate and graduate students are integral to the lab’s research, preparing the next generation of scientists and conservation leaders.

Your support enables students and researchers to conduct fieldwork, make new discoveries, and advance primate conservation.
