President’s Gala

Florida Atlantic University is set to host its 2024 President’s Gala in the Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena on the Boca Raton campus. This signature event is a special evening celebrating the University’s many achievements while supporting scholarships and student success.
Hall of Fame and Distinguished Alumni Award Ceremony and Reception

During the spring, the FAU Alumni Association recognizes a new class of Hall of Fame and Distinguished Alumni honorees. Established in 1985 by the FAU Alumni Association, the Hall of Fame Award recognizes extraordinary alumni who demonstrate exceptional service and commitment to their profession or the community. Additionally, distinguished alumni from each of Florida Atlantic’s colleges are honored for their outstanding accomplishments. Honorees exemplify the University’s legacy of service and excellence around the globe.

Established in 2000, FAU’s Parliament of OWLs (Older, Wiser, Leaders) recognizes the leadership and academic achievements our students have shown during their tenure on campus.
Majestic Owls Induction Ceremony and Luncheon

Every fall, the FAU Alumni Association honors the newest class of alumni who reach their 50-year graduation anniversary. The FAU Alumni Association began this tradition in 2015 by inducting the Class of 1965 into the Majestic Owls Society. Each year, the ensuing class that reaches the 50-year milestone is invited to join this special group of Owls.
Talon Leadership Awards Ceremony and Reception

Florida Atlantic University hosts its annual Talon Leadership Awards ceremony as part of Homecoming each fall. The awards recognize outstanding faculty, student, alumni, and community leadership. Co-sponsored by the FAU Alumni Association and the Homecoming Committee, the Talon Awards have been presented during Homecoming week since 1997.
