Since 2017, Florida Atlantic University Harbor Branch has been making waves in marine education with the Ocean Discovery Experience, a dynamic after-school program hosted in partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County. From dolphin rescue activities to building underwater turbines, children of all ages are taught about fascinating habitats, incredible marine life, and vital conservation actions, all led by our experts. So far, over 550 students from grades K-12 across ten club locations have been inspired by these hands-on lessons, sparking their curiosity and opening doors to exciting STEM careers. Your generous donations help keep this program afloat, allowing us to reach more young ocean explorers and make a lasting impact on their lives and the future of our blue planet.
