The Floyd Scholars Program is about building a community of scholars who are both mentored and pledge to “pass it on” by mentoring others. By providing funds for research and mentorship, the program ensures that financial constraints will not be a barrier for students who want to engage with research scholars and leaders. Each Floyd Scholar is mentored by outstanding research scholars and leaders in colleges and at universities while participating in a variety of mentoring events.

The program’s goal is to provide mentoring experiences for students and opportunities for Floyd Scholars to give back to the program by serving as mentors in the future.

The Floyd Scholars Program invites your investment through time, expertise, and funding opportunities. A gift of $1,500 will help send a Floyd Scholar to a research conference for mentoring. Larger gifts will provide valuable support for their research and mentoring. Gifts to sponsor mentoring events and activities will support continued programming. These gifts will make a significant impact as Floyd Scholars develop their careers and continue the tradition of mentoring others.

Gifts to the Floyd Scholars Fund are gratefully appreciated. Gifts can be made by check, Florida Atlantic payroll deduction, electronic fund transfers, gifts of securities or IRA charitable rollovers, or legacy giving. Click here for more information.
