The Academy for Community Inclusion in the College of Education at Florida Atlantic University is a unique program that has been transforming the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 2016. The mission of the Florida Atlantic University Academy for Community Inclusion is to increase overall independence in employment, self-determination, and community experiences for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Our approach is person-centered, emphasizing the individual strengths and needs of each student. Through our program, students gain critical life skills, academic knowledge, and vocational training, preparing them for success in their personal and professional lives.
