Sherry Bees joined the Division of Institutional Advancement in October 2023 as the Director of Strategic Partnerships of Alumni & Community Engagement.
In her role, she oversees and supports assigned strategic initiatives, and establishes and implements processes that support program expansion and enhancements to engage Florida Atlantic University alumni. Sherry has been a member of the FAU community since 2016, when she held the position of Principal/Director of K-12 programs at A.D. Henderson University School and Florida Atlantic High School.
Before starting at Florida Atlantic, Sherry dedicated 30 years to a career in PK-12 education. During this time, she served as an educational leader and administrator within Broward County Schools for 23 years.
