Michael D’Eugenio currently serves the Foundation as the Director of Development for Student Affairs and the President’s Gala at Florida Atlantic University. His focus is soliciting major gifts for FAU and the Division of Student Affairs. D’Eugenio has worked in higher education development for more than 16 years with expertise in large private and public research institutions. His career focus is building programs and implementing new strategies coupled with utilizing data and analytics to maximize program efforts. He also lectures at international conferences on marketing and fundraising strategies in higher education.
- Before joining FAU, D’Eugenio served as the Executive Director of Annual Giving at the University of Miami, where he led a team yielding more than 10 million dollars annually. While there, he also served as the Senior Director of Direct Marketing. D’Eugenio was also part of Miami’s 1.6 billion Momentum 2 fundraising campaign and enjoyed his part on a team that won two significant CASE awards recognizing best practices and contributions to the advancement profession.
- Prior to the University of Miami, D’Eugenio served Nova Southeastern University in relationship management of the Fellows Society, an exclusive group of 400 high net worth donors, and was responsible for building their first comprehensive direct marketing program for unrestricted funds.
