Irene Dec is President of the FAU OLLI Jupiter Advisory Board and chairs the strategic planning committee. She is also a Director on the League of Women Voters of Florida Board. Irene was a former Chief Operations Officer in the international division at Prudential Financial. In this position, Irene had experience in leading and implementing critical global initiatives and creating high performing global teams. Her responsibilities included implementing process structures to support business strategies such as joint ventures, building new businesses and assessing, preparing plans and implementing initiatives to improve existing businesses. Irene consulted and presented to U.S. firms and government agencies on addressing the Y2k computer issue, including presenting to the Year 2000 U.S. Senate Hearing, the U.S House of Representatives Ways and Means Committee and to Federal Government Cabinet CIOs. Irene appeared in over 60 business, technology and investment publications, including Investment News, Computer World and CIO Magazine. Irene enjoys taking walks, playing golf, travel and photography.
