Ian Swartz is the Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Partner at the Phil Smith Automotive Group. He has been in the automotive retail sector for over 25 years, with an operational retail and accounting background. Prior to joining the Phil Smith Automotive Group, Ian spent over 16 years in various financial and operational roles for AutoNation, Inc.
Ian is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University, class of 1993. He received his MBA in International Business from the University of Miami (Florida). He has been an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants for nearly 25 years. In addition to supporting Florida Atlantic University Athletics throughout his alumni tenure, Ian has been active in coaching and supporting youth sports in Boca Raton and Delray Beach over the past 5 years.
