In this role, Andrea will be supporting development officers in the creation of proposals, concept papers, impact reports and stewardship materials, as well as developing campaign materials and other communication initiatives with the Institutional Advancement Division.
Andrea has over 15 years’ experience working in science communication and journalism. She has written for nonprofits and foundations, such as Children’s Hospital Boston, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, Florida Atlantic, and Scripps Florida. Most recently, she worked as a lead science writer at the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Miami. As a journalist, she covered health, science and education for a variety of publications.
