Sally Rowley-Williams has been the President of a private, Massachusetts-based commercial real estate company since 2011. In 2018, she began to breed and sell thoroughbred racehorses in Ireland. Prior to this time, she enjoyed a distinguished career spanning nearly 20 years in the financial services industry, primarily at Chemical Bank in New York and Citigroup in London. Sally also worked for 13 years at Korn/Ferry International. As a Senior Client Partner in London, she headed the UK and co-managed the European Financial Services practice. Sally subsequently founded her own career consultancy and executive search business in London before relocating back to the United States in 2016.

In 2007, Sally founded and Chaired the Women in Racing network to raise the profile of women in horse racing across the industry and provide mentorship and opportunities for its members. It spearheaded the first-ever research on gender equality in the UK that resulted in numerous new initiatives for the industry. Originally a UK-based organization, it helped develop similar networks in the USA, Australia, France, Ireland and Sweden. Having moved back to the United States, she remains its Honorary President.

Sally’s other non-executive work has included serving on the advisory boards of the Management School of the University of Liverpool and Oxford Brookes University. She was honored to be created a Liveryman, the Worshipful Company of International Bankers and had also figured as a Trustee of The Pony Club, a UK headquartered international charity. Sally was also on the Board of Forum UK, an invitation-only network for the top 200 women in the UK, as well as the network, Women Corporate Directors. Sally graduated BA Cum Laude with Honors in History from Williams College in Massachusetts, before going on to earn her MBA at the New York University Graduate School of Business (now Stern), having studied at London Business School. Sally loves tennis, golf, formerly rode horses competitively and is a 4-time marathon runner.

Sally was appointed to the FAU Foundation Board in October 2016. She serves on the Audit Committee and formerly on the Nominating and Governance Committee which she also chaired.
