Michael Miller joined FAU as the Director of Development for the College of Engineering and Computer Science in January 2018, overseeing all philanthropic activities for the College. Before joining FAU, Michael spent four years at the University of Central Florida as the Director of Development for University-Wide Initiatives and the College of Optics and Photonics. He has held leadership positions in University Advancement at private and public universities.

Michael’s core belief is in making donors’ dreams a reality. He has lectured at international and national conferences, including the Engineering Development Forum and the International Cultic Studies Association.

Michael serves as the President of the Engineering Development Forum and is a dedicated community leader, serving on various boards and associations, including philanthropic, sports, cultural, educational, health, and children’s organizations. Michael received the Fuller Center Man with a Caring Heart award in 2022. He was inducted as a Holmes Scholar in 2023, recognizing his outstanding contributions to the Boca Raton community and as a scholar.
