Full Bio

Michael Miller joined FAU as the Director of Development for the College of Engineering and Computer Science in January 2018, overseeing all philanthropic activities for the College. Michael believes in helping donors’ dreams come alive.

  • Prior to joining FAU, Miller spent 4 years at the University of Central Florida where he served as the Director of Development for University-Wide Initiatives and the College of Optics and Photonics. 
  • Miller began his career in higher education in 2004 serving as the Director of Development for the Division of Social Sciences at the University of California, Santa Barbara, before going on to serve three years as the Director of Development at Rollins College, a private liberal arts college in Winterpark, Florida.
  • He is a dedicated community leader, serving on various boards and associations including philanthropic, sports, cultural, educational, health, and children’s organizations.
  • Michael has presented at a number of national and state conferences including the Engineering Development Forum, and International Cultic Studies Association.
  • In addition to being a HOLMES scholar, Michael was a recipient of the Fuller Center, Man with a Caring Heart for 2022.
