With a talent and thought leadership career spanning more than 35 years with innovative public companies and iconic brands, Keith Sanders has built a reputation for developing world-class HR organizations in technology solutions, consumer goods, retail, banking and manufacturing. He’s consistently recognized for developing strategies and playbooks to achieve inclusive and diverse cultures that authentically engage coworkers and produce award-winning business results. In his roles as Chief Human Resources Officer, board director and turnaround business strategist, Keith leads by example, leveraging comprehensive strategic planning coupled with consistent communication and an empowering leadership style that inspires innovation while optimizing resources and performance. With a well-trained eye for streamlining administrative and organizational functions, he delivers meaningful increases in savings, efficiency, and company engagement. Keith currently serves as Vice President, DEI & Talent Engineering at CDW, a leading multi-brand technology solutions provider to more than 250,000 business, government, education and healthcare customers in the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada. A Fortune 500 company and a member of the S&P 500 Index, CDW employs more than 10,000 coworkers and in 2022, the company generated annual net sales of $22 billion. Keith earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration at Florida Atlantic University. He serves on the board for the Florida Atlantic University Foundation, YWCA, Lurie’s Children Hospital, the African American Leadership Academy and is a Board Member Emeritus for King Arts Complex and Black Economic Alliance. He also previously served on the board for the Bank Administration Institute, Columbus Zoo, Columbus Museum of Art and Harper College. Keith is an active member of The Executive Leadership Council, The Society of HR Managers and the National Association of African Americans in HR. He stays active in his community by fundraising for cancer research and mentoring future leaders. He was named to Savoy Magazine’s “Top 100 Most Influential Blacks in Corporate America” list in 2014, 2018 and 2020, and its “Most Influential Executives in Diversity & Inclusion” list in 2023.
