On Sept. 17, more than 2,000 donors came together for Florida Atlantic University’s fourth annual Giving Day, raising more than $618,000 to support the people, programs, and priorities that make Florida Atlantic the place “Where Tomorrow Begins.” The 24-hour giving event achieved a 33% increase in new donors over the previous year, reflecting the growing momentum of the Owl community’s commitment to student success and institutional excellence.
Giving Day invites alumni, faculty, staff, parents, and friends to make gifts in support of the areas that matter most to them. This year’s contributions will strengthen initiatives across the university, increasing scholarships, expanding student success programs, fueling innovative research, supporting our student-athletes and athletic programs, and broadening campus and community engagement.
“Each gift to Florida Atlantic helps advance our mission as a top-tier public research university, creating new opportunities that have a lasting impact on our students and communities,” said FAU President Adam Hasner. “We are thankful to everyone who supported our university on Giving Day.
