Thank you to our outstanding Owl supporters! In 24 hours, Florida Atlantic Giving Day 2023 raised approximately $216,000 from more than 1,050 donors. One-third of those who gave were first time donors to the University. Philanthropy fuels innovation and achievement, and your choice to give to Florida Atlantic speaks volumes about your commitment to its success. From faculty research to student scholarships, your involvement helps the University to grow, its programs to flourish and our Owls to thrive.

FAU Receives Philanthropic Support for Alzheimer's Disease from Carl Angus DeSantis Foundation

Florida Atlantic’s Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine has received a $750,000 philanthropic grant from the Carl Angus DeSantis Foundation to develop partnerships and programs that will establish best practices for coordinated care and research for Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. The Carl Angus DeSantis Foundation is a private foundation based in South Florida dedicated to supporting programs and organizations that devise strategies for improving human health.

FAU Receives Gift to Support Theatre Performances and Arts Education

Florida Atlantic’s Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters has received a significant gift commitment from the Edith and Martin Stein Family Foundation to support performances and arts education at the University’s Theatre Lab. The Board of Trustees approved naming the atrium the Edith and Martin Stein Family Foundation Atrium at Theatre Lab
