Florida Atlantic Celebrates Summer 2025 Graduates

Last week, Florida Atlantic University celebrated the achievements of nearly 1,800 graduates during three in-person commencement ceremonies held in the Carole and Barry Kaye Performing Arts Auditorium. Among the degree recipients were 222 first-generation students, 50 who earned a perfect 4.0 GPA, and individuals representing 64 countries.

New Scholarship to Support Florida Atlantic’s Science Students

Florida Atlantic University’s MobileMinds program, part of the Stiles‑Nicholson Brain Institute, has expanded into Broward County — taking hands-on neuroscience education directly into classrooms and community spaces thanks to a generous gift from the Sharron and Joseph Ashby Hubert Fund of the Community Foundation of Broward. Since its inception in Palm Beach County, the MobileMinds program has now reached more than 22,740 students in 55 schools over four years.

First Saturday in Paradise and Duffy’s Fan Fest Set for August 16

Florida Atlantic Athletics, in collaboration with the Division of Student Affairs, has announced plans for the First Saturday in Paradise and Duffy's Sports Grill Fan Fest. The event, which is free and open to the public, is set for Saturday, August 16, at Flagler Credit Union Stadium, beginning at 5 p.m. The Saturday evening event includes activities outside the stadium in the Fan Zone, with stadium gates opening at 7 p.m., for events inside the stadium. The night is capped by a spectacular drone show at approximately 8:45 p.m.
