Mary Beth Mudrick
Mary Beth Mudrick is a native of South Florida. She began her career with FAU in 2009 at its Florida Center for Environmental Studies, working on issues related to Everglades restoration, sea level rise, and educational outreach. She then joined the Charles E. Schmidt College of Science to lead the communications program, later serving the College as the Interim Director of Development.
Mary Beth serves as a Consumer Scientific Reviewer for the Department of Defense’s Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program. She volunteers for the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance’s program “Survivors Teaching Students.” The program seeks to increase early diagnosis and survival of Ovarian Cancer by educating third-year medical students.
Prior to her work at FAU, Mudrick made a contribution to the field of Historic Preservation as the co-author and illustrator of Federal Style Patterns 1780-1820, published by John Wiley & Sons.
