Mary Beth Mudrick
Mary Beth Mudrick began her career with FAU in 2009 at its Florida Center for Environmental Studies on the Jupiter campus working on issues related to Everglades Restoration, sea level rise, and educational outreach. She then joined The Charles E. Schmidt College of Science to lead the communications program, later serving the College as the Interim Director of Development. Mary Beth serves as a Consumer Reviewer for the Department of Defense’s Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program for Ovarian Cancer Research. She also volunteers for the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance in their outreach program, “Survivors teaching Students” which educates third-year medical students in order to increase early diagnosis of Ovarian Cancer.
- Prior to her work at FAU, Mudrick made a contribution to the field of Historic Preservation as the co-author and illustrator of Federal Style Patterns 1780-1820, published by John Wiley & Sons.
