Julie Lauderbaugh is Assistant Vice President, Campaign Communications and oversees the Foundation’s communications related to the campaign, principal giving, donor recognition, stewardship and executive leadership. In addition to her campaign work, she served as Assistant Vice President for Communications, Alumni & Donor Engagement from 2020-2021, overseeing the Alumni Association’s Board of Directors, communications, engagement and Annual Giving initiatives on an interim basis.
Lauderbaugh joined the FAU Family in 2018 after two years as a strategic communications consultant for multibillion-dollar philanthropic campaign launches at the University of Florida and UC San Diego.
Prior expertise leading Lauderbaugh to advance the FAU Foundation includes:
- Strategic planning and content development support for marketing and development campaigns at the University of Georgia and Marlboro College.
- Former Director of Communications at the University of Florida’s Anita Zucker Center for Excellence in Early Childhood Studies.
- Five-year Assistant Director of Content with the University of Washington’s Marketing and Communications team, leading a staff of six and driving the development, production and promotion of the university’s comprehensive “Be Boundless” brand and $6 billion philanthropic campaign.
