University Ambassadors

Who Are The Ambassadors?

The Florida Atlantic University Ambassadors are an exclusive organization that represent the student body by exemplifying the ideals of scholarship, leadership and teamwork. Through learning and leadership opportunities, events, services, and University traditions, the Ambassadors foster a deep sense of loyalty, pride, spirit, and lifelong connections to Florida Atlantic University. Serving as a liaison among the current students, alumni, founders, and donors of the university, the Ambassadors bring forth a student voice in a positive and effective way at all University events.

What is their role?

Primarily, the Ambassadors act as official hosts for University events at venues such as the Marleen & Harold Forkas Alumni Center, the FAU Stadium, and the Eleanor R. Baldwin House, home to the University President. Ambassadors meet, greet and interact with all guests including alumni, donors, faculty, staff and students. They also host other official events on campus.

What are the qualifications?

Participation in the Ambassadors is dependent upon a selective application process. At minimum, one semester with a cumulative G.P.A. of 2.7 must be completed at Florida Atlantic University in order to apply. Selection to apply will only be granted to those who are members of the Student Alumni Association (SAA).

What are the benefits?

Any Ambassador who successfully completes two active semesters will receive a signed letter of recommendation from the Office of Alumni Relations. He/she will also be given an official medallion for graduation. Furthermore, the professional opportunities available to Ambassadors are limitless. They have a wonderful opportunity to network with distinguished professionals of the FAU community.
