The Phyllis & Harvey Sandler School of Social Work at Florida Atlantic University offers acclaimed bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs. Each academic year, our social work students provide approximately 190,000 community service hours through their internships valued at upward of $8,600,000 to more than 200 agencies in the tri-county region and beyond. Our students also maintain a stellar 98% job-placement rate within three months of graduation.

Social workers maximize human potential, alleviate human suffering, enhance the vitality and caring capacity of our communities, and promote the ideals of a humane and just society. Nearly 50% of our students rely on financial support to complete their education and go on to change the world. When you support social workers, your gifts truly make a world of difference. Thank you.

On Friday, March 31 from 5:00-6:30 PM, join us for our annual Phyllis Sandler Heart of Social Work event - a special time of connection and celebration at The Owl’s Nest within the Schmidt Family Complex for Athletic & Academic Excellence. Together, we will honor our remarkable students and recognize the monumental impact social workers are making in our communities near and far.

Delicious bites and refreshing libations will be served.
