Hired in February 2024, Scott is the Development Director for the Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing. In this role, Scott serves on the Dean’s leadership team, managing all areas of fundraising for the college, including the ongoing stewardship of their many friends and supporters.

For the past two years, Scott has led the fundraising efforts of the Broward Health Foundation. In his first year, fundraising productivity tripled. Prior to Broward Health, Scott served as Vice President for Development and Marketing at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale for five years.

From 2011-2017 Scott served as Vice President for Development with the Advocate Charitable Foundation, the largest healthcare provider in Illinois. Scott’s market area was central Illinois, where he provided fundraising leadership at hospitals in the communities of Normal and Eureka. Scott and his team completed two capital campaigns, raising more than $20M. Scott also served as President of the Brokaw Hospital Endowment fund.

Previous to this, Scott spent five years as Director of Development with the University of Iowa Foundation. At Iowa, his primary constituent area was the College of Public Health, where he helped successfully complete at $15M capital campaign, the first ever for that college.
