days to graduation
Your degree is calling your name and we couldn’t be more excited for each and every one of you. We understand that the days leading up to graduation can become a little hectic, trust us we get it, but we hope you can find time to donate back to a place you can always call home.
There are many reasons to give back to FAU, as your graduating class can join classes that came before you and help pave the way for generations of Owls to come. Much like riding the Lane Train before game day, high-fiving Owlsley in the Breezeway or tailgating in paradise, giving back is all a part of the FAU experience.
When I give where exactly does it go?
All gifts made through Senior Class Gift will be directed to the Senior Class Gift Scholarship. The Senior Class Gift Scholarship is a fund that assists your fellow juniors or seniors who run the risk of not receiving their diploma due to financial obstacles. If you or someone you know is interested in the Senior Class Gift Scholarship, please contact the Office of Financial Aid.
Since 2014, over 5,000 FAU seniors have come together and contributed more than $100,000 towards the Senior Class Gift Scholarship, and now it’s your turn!
We encourage all graduating seniors to give a gift in honor of your graduation year of $20.19 to support the future graduation efforts of students to come, what better of a legacy to leave?
With your gift comes:
- Your FAU Senior Gift Cord.
- An invitation to the Toast to the Grads event this April, a new exclusive event for seniors who have either: made their $20.19 gift to the Senior Class Gift Scholarship, purchased a Class Ring, or who have purchased a lifetime membership to the FAU Alumni Association.
- As well as the satisfaction of knowing you have made it possible for a student to receive their degree no matter the obstacles facing them.
Okay, you’ve convinced me.
