THE FLORIDA ATLANTIC UNIVERSITY
NATIONAL ALUMNI ASSOCIATION Florida Atlantic University’s first class graduated in 1965. The Florida Atlantic University National Alumni Association (FAUNAA) was founded in 1968. Since 1968, the Association has had 28 presidents. Currently the Board of Directors has 37 voting members, 32 general and 5 national/geographic (the By-Laws allow for 15 to 33 general voting members and six national/geographic voting members) and several non-voting, ex-officio members. Special attention has been paid to expanding the geographic and academic representation of the Board and including input from student leaders.
